Your Mission
Your Responsibilities
Impact: As a Senior Platform Engineer, you’ll own and evolve the infrastructure and services behind Dive’s cloud-native simulation platform. You’ll work on a multi-tenant Kubernetes environment handling large volumes of simulation data, ensuring our platform remains scalable, reliable, secure, and performant as we grow.
- Design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure, building a scalable, redundant, and secure foundation to our product
- Manage database and storage solutions to ensure terabytes of data are stored, retrieved, and maintained effectively
- Improve observability of our platform by extending metrics, logging, and tracing in collaboration with other team members
- You will develop and extend Python web services, with a strong emphasis on crafting efficient and robust business logic
- You will build durable workflows using Temporal (temporal.io) to orchestrate and manage complex processes and interactions within our application
- You will aid in the design of service architectures, ensuring that they are scalable, reliable, and performant
Your Qualifications
- You have 4+ years of industry experience in platform and/or backend development
- You have successfully completed a bachelor’s degree in computer science, applied science, or a similar educational background
- You approach complex technical challenges with critical thinking, make well-reasoned architectural decisions, and effectively prioritize work to deliver reliable, maintainable solutions
- You demonstrate proficiency with infrastructure technologies like Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, ArgoCD, and Terraform
- You have experience developing python applications
- You have used and ideally implemented the Grafana monitoring stack in a project
- You communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, take ownership of your work, continuously learn and adapt to new technologies
- You thrive in an agile software development environment and embrace DevOps principles and practices
