CFD Application Engineer (m/f/d)

Permanent employee, Full-time · Berlin

Our Mission
We are living in an era for engineers. Today's urgent need for technological advancement is unprecedented in human history. Some are motivated by a green planet, and some want to revolutionize human mobility. Either way, we help engineers develop great products faster by removing all unnecessary distractions and limitations within the simulation process. We believe that engineers should be able to focus on delivering great products - on just engineering.

The CAE world, is dealing with new simulation applications every day. Applications that we did not even think of, are modelled on our platform day in, day out. You’ll be our “special forces agent” that explores those applications, improves modelling strategies and extracts the best possible value for the customer. Eventually, you are going to package those noval approaches to enroll them to the entire CAE market. This way, you help us drive and improve the simulation capabilities of engineers across the globe.
Your Responsibilities
  • Lead customer interviews to discover and explore promising simulation opportunities.
  • Plan and execute customer proof-of-concepts (PoCs) in new applications and markets. This includes assisting initial simulation setups, guiding software trials and performing on- and offsite workshops.
  • Educate engineers in- and outside of Dive to maximize our impact and satisfy our hunger for excellence.
  • Craft technical value propositions and effective messages that excite our engineering audience.
  • Create tech-savvy content pieces dedicated to engineers e.g. scientific or white papers, blog posts or just beautifully rendered explanatory simulation videos.
  • Cooperate with product, sales and customer success to conceptualize thoughtful marketing strategies that are followed by impactful campaigns in various verticals and geographies.
  • Follow CAE trends and scientific breakthroughs to help us identify suitable innovation opportunities.
Your Qualifications
  • Master in mechanical, computational, process engineering or similar (ideally PhD)
  • Extensive experience with various numerical and physical modelling techniques in the field of fluid and structural simulation
  • Proficiency in skripting languages like Matlab or Python
  • Advanced proficiency in CAD
  • Exceptional communication skills in both written and verbal English, with proficiency in German considered a plus
  • Advanced experiences in postprocessing or rendering software e.g. Paraview, Blender or similar
Even if you don't meet all the criteria 100%, but believe there's a potential fit, we encourage you to apply. We value diverse perspectives and are open to discovering how your unique skills and experiences could contribute to our team.
